Our much-in-demand series of classic Brazilian 45s are back! 'Golden era' Brazilian music, mastered and cut loud at 45rpm on 7” vinyl. The imprint features rare and sought after tracks previously unreleased as singles or only available on quieter – and more often than not, expensive – LP pressings. Finding these tracks in good condition at a fair price is extremely difficult, as anyone who has searched for them will know. These are destined to become collector’s items in their own right.
The relaunch also sees the imprint getting a design refresh. Mr Bongo’s Creative Director, Owen Tozer…
"When re-designing the Brazil45s series I wanted to create a strong, recognisable brand which could still be varied and individual for each release. My experience of Brazil was so vibrant, full of colour, energy and a buzz that I wanted to reference in the design. So I developed a changeable brand with standard elements that can be recoloured and resized so that each record has its own identity within the bigger picture."
