This weeks staff pick comes from Tracy. She has chosen our latest re-issue release, O Seis 'Suicida / Apocalipse', which is available here.
My pick is a real hidden gem – 'Suicada' by O'Seis (Os Mutantes before they were Os Mutantes). Pure 60s Brazilian psyche at its finest! It twists from a Maximilian-esq wonky intro into to a homage of The What Four's 'Destroy That Boy', going into Dion's 'The Wanderer' and managing somehow to weave Chopin's 'Funeral March' with a bit of surf guitar. Brilliantly bonkers.
The original 7" goes for £4k – as it's ultra rare and was originally pressed and released by the band. A must-have for any 60s heads.
