We have to admit, we hadn't heard of the American singer-songwriter Hannah Cohen before this record, but we thought her new album 'Earthstar Mountain' on Brighton's Bella Union had a great cross-over sound. It could be just over-looked as an alternative indie-pop album, however it has some great arrangements, a cool country-folk-funk, AOR and a blissed out Balearic-ish vibe in places. Well recommended.
